In response to the last buzz. I know exactly what was happening. I'm an experienced actor and theatre goer and I have a good idea of technicality and dramaturgy, hence the fact that this play is lacking so much. The script is decent enough; themes of identity, sexuality, etc. It's too bad it was not done properly
This show is filled with intelligent humour and subtleties
If you expected a simple boring text this show is not for you
Last poster probably had a hard time understanding what was happening. Perhaps a little too subtle for him.
this show was nominated for two prizes for a reason
Keep it up I recommended this show to all my friends that appreciate intelligent out of the box logic and humour
Cheers!
What the fuck was that? I read a lot of good buzz about this show so I saw it instead of another show. So disappointing. There are so many things wrong with this play. Where was the director? Was there even one? These poor actors have little idea of what they're saying and no idea how to even say it. The two musicians were awesome. Loved the preshow music
Great show full of lively characters, bold costumes and great music.
Flamboyant witty piece that keeps you smiling and laughing. Great job guys!

Went to this show because I knew someone in it, not knowing what to expect. And it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. Clownishness at its best. Most of the jokes were pretty funny (including one scene that had the whole audience roaring with laughter). The plot was engaging. And underneath the loud buffoonery, the show even made an interesting point about how we view identity.
This is the first show I've seen at the Fringe, so I don't know how it stacks up to the rest of the crop, but I quite liked this.
In one phrase, this play is a brilliant adaptation of a witty, well written, thought-provoking steampunk-surged script, daftly performed by talented actors and delivered in an entertaining, musical and stylish 60 minute package that grips you and twists your mind playfully until the lights turn off
This show is filled with intelligent humor. Many subtleties in the text make it a real work of art and they kept me wanting more. The actors were excellent in their interpretations of the characters. The costumes and the stage set were very well made and added the perfect ambiance for the show.
The existential question of "Who am I?" is addressed in a fun, entertaining, logical and intelligent way and I felt that the play shows us that just like in real life, the more you try to understand that question, the more confused and baffled you can be.
I am impressed by the professionalism and the amount of work that has been done for this show. I enjoyed every second of it and will go watch it again! I was left wanting more when it ended
I recommend to everyone that likes witty humor to go see this show
Have already attended twice. The play is a very high caliber art. I found a complete harmony between the written text and dialogue and the interpretation expressed by all actors. You would feel that the stage manager and the director have excelled in a professional manner to link the written text with the capabilities of each actor. In addition to the humor and the philosophy behind the well written text, the whole piece is so well fitted together that it retains your complete attention from start to end. You feel right away the team work efforts in producing the show.
Much more can be said. It is very highly recommended show to see more than once.

Definitely a must see! The actors, the costumes, the script...It's a complete idea about identity and how we portray ourselves in society set in a Steam Punk fashion. Very well written and very charming actors! Kudos to the music too, very Firefly.
A depth play filled with humor; this is how I can describe ''Who is Aristippus?''. You will be enchanted by the actors, the so well written text and the music that takes you to another world...Not to mention the work that have been done behind!
A must see that needs to be included in your schedule!
From the beginning until the end, the actors manage to keep you engaged with spontaneity, drama, humour & of course the famous love triangle. I absolutely loved it and would recommend anyone to go to the Club Espagnol on St-Laurent street (near Rachelle) to see it. The caracters each place their own twist to the play and shape it with fluide transistions and original settings .. what an original endeavor & overall really enjoyable.
Congratulations to the producers & the whole team :)
When is the sequel coming out ? !!!
BRAVOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Want to test your wittiness? Go see who is aristippus?
No loss of creativity and talent in this show. A must see!
