Now that Cobra rules the world and Cobra Commander has been crucified... what else is left to do? The answer... everything!!!
Destro is now the leader of Cobra and things have gone from bad to worse. No one is happy under the new dictatorship. Who will come to the aid of the poor, oppressed Cobra troops in their greatest time of need?
Aww, come on... who else? Of course, Cobra Commander is back to save the day... or is he?

It feels like the same person went to see the show 6 times and wrote all the net buzz there is about this show. It all sounds the same except for a few, even the bad ones are written the same way. WEIRD!... coincidence?!!!...
Anyway, fake buzz annoys me. It's good marketing though, but typical. Talk bad about it, talk good about it, as long as you talk about it, right?
Enjoy the rest of the Fringe.
I'm not a regular theatre goer, but I go see every Cobra The Musical show. This year I decided to check out more shows and was pleasantly surprised. Then I realized something: not only is Cobra a great show (more on that later), but they've also made me want to see more live theatre. And I believe that's the biggest compliment I can give them.
From what I've seen (and just said), the writers of Cobra have a knack for bringing the average Joe into the theatre and having them enjoy it. I'm sure there are plenty of other people who feel the same way. They'd never get a chance to see live theater if it weren't for shows like this one.
It's fun, entertaining, well-written, sometimes crass, always lively and everyone seems to love it. Even reviewers can't help but love this show. From what I've seen on this site, it's been nothing but positive reviews from journalists. Not everybody likes it, but this show is not FOR everybody. A sense of humour is required to start off with!
The dance numbers are great. Very well done and the music is superb. Well chosen songs and very funny lyrics.
Here's to the end of an era...or hopefully not. It's been a great ride and a great way to end it.
Transformers the Musical maybe????
The place was packed when I went to see the play. Cobra seems to have a cult following, but I am not sure it deserves it. The first Cobra was a hoot, but I am glad the authors have made sure this episode will be the last.
The choreographies and songs are funny, but Cobra Commander has gone way off the deep end, his voice is still grating, and there isn't much the cast can do with the story they have.
The third and final Cobra Musical ends on a dark, and hilarious note. The stakes are higher, the tone is set with impending doom, and The Cobra Commander lives!
The cast has tripled in this entry, and introductions of the Drednoks, Tomax & Xamot are welcomed additions, as well as totally funny character introductions. The Musical parts of this musical are fewer than any of the other Cobra plays, (at least it seems like they are), but what you get in return is the sharp, often crass, always Hilarious dialogue in bulk.
Aaron George (aka The Cobra Commander) is his usual awesome self, and still the greatest buffoon to ever take center stage, reminding you why the Cobra Musicals are so much fun to watch.
And you'll be glad to see that Dr. Mindbender is back too!
I won't give away some of the nice little suprises, but, if you are a fan of the past Cobra Musicals, or just simply an insane GI Joe fan, you cannot miss this!
The only sad thing is that this is the last one.
Oh, and the choice of music in this one is pure classic metal/rock genius.
Great job Ace, Aaron & the rest of the cast & crew.
What an awesome night!
I am soo not familiar with G.I. Joe-ness. But I was still able to laugh my ass off at (most of) the jokes. Even as someone who was not around for the first two, I was still able to appreciate all the hard work that went into the dances, the fights, the set, the costumes and even the super cool lighting.
I'm telling you people you MUST go see this show if you're looking for entertainment!
Went last night, had a really really fun time! We're just sad we didn't see the other parts!!!
a very god end to the trilogy. the only problem i could see is that people who where expecting a ridiculous comedy like the first two shows will be a little disappointed . is was a more serious show but with comedy inserted in it as well
some of the jokes were a little to specific to G.I. Joe fans. but if you're a fan, you'll love it
the acting was very good and the music was also very good
the costumes and set were super cool as well
I recommend this show to all fans
I was at last night's packed show for Cobra III and all I can say is I bow down to the awesome might of COBRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
What a great show! It's not for everyone but if you want to be thoroughly entertained and watch an amazing display of dance, singing and great storyline, then this is the show for you.
I'm just sad that it's the last one. Guys...one more PLEASE......
I saw Cobra III last night and the only word I have to describe it is AMAZING. The show was funny and even touching at points. The songs were awesome and kudos to the director for having over 20 people on stage and making everything look so flawless. People came in and out and it all looked so smooth. There were people there of all ages having a good time.
The audience was so into it too that they laughed throughout, but nothing was lost. I've seen a lot of shows were the actors continue talking over the laughter and then we can't understand what just happened. These people are true professionals.
This is a show not to be missed. Amazing actors, amazing songs, amazing sets and costumes...this one has it all.
Comedy 101: Don’t be consistently ridiculous.
Wow! I’m floored by those saying that if you grew up a fan of G.I. Joe, then this play is a must-see. All I heard throughout were downbeat comments and applause of pity.
I, too, grew up with G.I. Joe. Loved it! This act, however, is mediocre, at best. While it’s clearly meant to be a parody, sorry, it just isn’t funny. That irritating voice you can barely understand; singers who borderline being tone deaf; dance numbers that have been inadequately choreographed; and ladies parading around in skin-tight uniforms—some bearing almost nothing— surrendering to homoerotic desires...The same goes for the guys. Like we haven’t seen this before. It’s as though the writers descended back in time, back to their days of high school Drama, where uncultured stunts brought the class to stitches. Fast forward to adulthood and here we have a group who still resorts to garish foolishness. I feel sorry for some of the performers who are certainly better than this. But I feel even worse for those who paid the $11.00. Thankfully, it’s the last installment!
Saw the show yesterday, went in without any expectation, came out peeing my pants
worth seeing
COBRA LA LA LA LA LA
I had a great time at this, the last show in the thatrical adventure that was... cobra the musical.
I went on opening night and was impressed with the siz of the new ensemble cast !!! around twenty people doing the choreogrpahed numbers. People will remeber familiar faces from other cobra shows as well as several bnew characters. A MUST for any gi joe or cobra fans for sure and definately a must see for fringe goers who remebers growing up in the eighties!
Go in with an open mind and come out with a pant-load of cobra pride!
(There is no intermission during this perofrmance so I would suggest to grab at least two or three beers BEFORE sitting down for the show!)
As a huge fan of classic 80s after-school cartoons, I was enthralled and immensely entertained by this play. It felt like I took a trip back to my childhood in a debauchery-lined Delorian. Smart and sharp writing from Aaron and Ace, hilarious acting, well-choreographed dance numbers, and wicked, spot-on costumes. Please, can we see "Cobra the Musical IV: Cobra-La-La-La-La-La!"?
Saw Cobra III last night and it kicked ass just as promised. The songs were awesome and the dancing was great. Lots of hot chicks too! Go see this show is you wanna have fun.
Just read a previous comment on the show where the person didn’t see the last part. Clearly this is billed as part 3 so if you haven’t seen the other 2, then why go to this one? You don't have to have seen them, but it helps.
For the true fans, this is a great way to end the series. You guys rock!
Maybe I totally missed something from not catching the previous installment, but I felt there wasn't much here. Lots of cute girls. Sort of a plot...I think. I'm sure the long-time Cobra fans will still enjoy.
These guys have it down to a science.
A perfect blend of nostalgia and twisted perverse humor.
Why didn't the studio cast these guys to make the new movie this summer?
All our favorite badguys are brought to the stage impeccably (we should all chip in for a case of throat-lozenges for Cobra Commander).
Worth seeing at least once by anyone who grew up in the 80s.
Saw the show Friday, had an absolute blast! This show is tight and hilarious! Congrats to all involved, truly a tremendous effort!!!
Very amateur, was unable to understand what they were saying. Everybody talks at the same time with annoying voices :-(
