First of all, my apologies to the glamour babes who will be participating in the Montreal Fringe Festival drag race today. In today's paper it says tomorrow. It should say today. This even always draws a big crowd to the beer tent. So arrive early.

Last night I saw two more shows A Trip to Coney Island with Uncle Zeroboy, which was funny and very well done. This guy supplies ingenious sound effects as he takes us through the history of Coney Island. Very good. It plays again today at 3:30 p.m. and tomorrow at 8 p.m.

The other show, There Will be Lasers, is known for being the shortest show at the festival. About 25 minutes. A young woman looking spooky in a black cloak talks sci-fi poetics as her friend plays with underwhelming laser lighting. A disappointment.
