Random Net Buzz...

Some edge to edges but mostly well rounded

Richard on EDGES : A Song Cycle

Parts of Edges were touching and relevant. The overall staging was simple and precise though the singing was often off key. They kept the house lights on which was unfortunate because it is rather like taking a lovely meal and putting it on a paper plate, and most of this was lovely. I only had an issue with the gay song, roll out the stereotype carpet and let's use the gays as a side kick. (I thought we got over that in the 1950's) But that is more the choice of the director whereas the song itself, if staged differently, may have been more poignant.
